Anyway...
We didn't know how to hunt yet, and as the aztecs cooked their corn in a hot springs by adding salt to it... a wild boar showed up and ate the corn. The first time... no one knew what happened. Then... someone was looking from far away. He saw the boar come and the aztecs most likely thought "What if we use food to get larger food" and then set up a trap for the boar with some already cooked corn. This was part of the series of adventures with food... just ridiculous things kept happening.
One of the other first foods we ate, during summer, would be meat. It got really hot one summer, and as you are aware, salt makes hot air cook faster just like hot water does. We cut meat very thin and used a rock which was like an oven in order to cook the meat.
Before cooking meat this way I think we tried to cook vegetables, either a bell pepper or romaine lettuce on the rock.
